Chive Green Beans

Just a few ingredients, a few minutes of cooking and prep time and you've got a healthy side dish that pairs perfectly with many of our stuffed chicken breasts. Try it tonight for a new family favorite.


  • 1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 1 tbs fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tbs fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp stone-ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. Steam green beans, covered for 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Remove from steamer and toss with remaining ingredients.

Yield: 4 servings
